Airbus X+REX 2.0+overdrive+FTX YBBN+EMB+EZDOK= Reality?
I'm really loving my new build. At first I was getting disappointing 12-20fps around YBBN and YMML until I realised I forgot to run Bjortes cfg thing. I did that this morning and now I'm getting rock solid 30fps no matter what aircraft I fly or viewpoint I choose. I may turn on some of the airport features I disabled but not all (don't need landside passengers for example when I can't see them).
Anyway, this shot is of an Ansett Australia A320-200 boarding whilst the baggage handlers load the cargo hauls and maintenance engineers inspect the inside of the reverser doors after a failure to deploy upon the previous landing.

Heh, you may be right about the NGX but I've never been too interested in PMDGs advanced products as there's almost nothing but Boeings here and I like variety. I do have their MD-11 and love it though.
Wish they'd make an upgrade of their Beech 1900 with NGX style graphics. That'd be perfect for 80% of my flight sim flying.

Lol... 10 FPS is good enough for me...
This... Is Rio.
Loud and talkative Bengal cat. He's not ours; his owner lives two houses down, but he wanders around the neighborhood getting food and talking to his human friends. He'll sometimes get into a fight if he meets another cat though... But it's rare because he's kicked out all other cats in the neighborhood. He thinks all the houses are his too...
I came up with the name "ilikerio" way back in 4th grade, and I've used it with most user accounts ever since.
My group of close friends and I have named ourselves The Rio Group. ilikerio Productions is the media branch, located here:

Personally i think the Airbus X is every bit as good as the PMDG 'The Next Generation' 737 NGX. And a great shot BTW

PMDG has a more indepth systems, in the X you can't allign the IRU's, and there really no depth in the MDCU programming.

The ground staff in the image are part of ORBXs YBBN 'peopleflow' animation series. They replace the default baggage cars with these with the people unloading the bags onto the belt which then moves up into the hold.
As for the Airbus X, I find it is decently realistic for my taste of flying. I don't often fly 'big' jets as I prefer my little Embraers or regional props but the Airbus X I've found isn't too steep a learning curve. Aerosoft is planning on releasing a more detailed expansion for the X including the left out MDCU functions and such but I'm quite happy with what it does have.
I can switch into it from my B1900D and have it started up and ready to go from cold and dark within 5-10 minutes without having to go through huge checklists (it's fairly simple to set up an A320 after all).
The only thing I'm not used to is the size of it! The E170 is my usual jet but the plane with the most hours I've flown in (airliner anyway, GA is different) is the PMDG 1900D. That little prop is so much more nimble than the big A320 that I sometimes forget where the main gear are until they hit the tarmac. It's all about perspective.
