No problem.  Just wanted to eliminate any problems I may have caused in understanding what's wrong by clearly restating the original problem.

OK - now, I've tried to install FF - got into the procedure and FF said I needed to reboot to remove a previous attempted install of FF.  I've rebooted - tried the reinstall - and it's still telling me I've got to reboot to eliminate the previous attempted install of FF.

Finally did a search, found every file having to do with Firefox on my machine, deleted it by hand, then reinstalled FF.  Went to the SimViation site, found the files in question, downloaded, and saved.  Tried them in FS9 and work like charm.  Looks like from now on will be using FF when visiting SV.  I think this is done with, unless you have a suggestion for improving this arrangement - always open to those.

Also -- another member reported that he rewsolved the same problem in Internet Explorer by using CCleaner - a good free system cleaner that I've been uising for years. Wouldn't be without it.

It didn't occur to me that people did not clean their Windows systems regularly (Windows accumulates masses of crap as it is used) ... but if you don't you WILL have problems.

CCleaner

Dont give up, shrek.

You could try to make a full cleanup with this little neat program

If you have the same problem elsewhere, then you might have a browser blocker!
