The Ayers Trip

So on monday morning i recieve a phonecall from the boss saying "My family are coming over from england and they HAVE to see Ayers Rock". already i can feel my enthusiasm falling. "ill pay you double the normal rate" i started to listen " plus there will be a surprise for you at the end if you just fly them out there and back. you dont need to give them a tour, they have already decided to hike around the rock, what do you say?". Hmmm what do you say? hell yeah id love to fly from Brisbane all the way to Ayers rock early in the morning in two days time? i guess i had too.

so wednesday came around with an early start, i drove on up to Brisbane Int and waited for the family who promptly turned up with all the touristy equipment you could need! but nonetheless i got them strapped in and breifed for the 3 hour flight.

...

soon enough we lined up ready

...

straight after takeoff i could already hear the cameras clicking away

...

but once high enough, i switched the autopilot on and sat back to think what could this surprise be?

...

...

the miles came and went but still i just couldnt guess

...

...

as we approached half way, i was worried my boss had got me some hooker or a date with his sister!

(check part two)
