I find it an excellent addition to my Flight Sim explorations, (FS 2004 and FSX), to be able to follow my progress in real-time on the various Google GPS Maps, eg: (Map, Terrain, and Satellite).

At the moment some of us are busy trying to incorporate Plan-G into our Multiplayer flight activity using various Server hosts.

It really is an excellent program, and very user-friendly... Smiley...!

...and the REALLY good news....its FREE!..Courtesy of Tim Arnot...Smiley...!

Well worth a try!: http://www.tasoftware.co.uk/planG.htm

Just curious...

When planning the flight does it pull through to FSX? Viable in the default GPS?

Would I need to minimize FSX to view the program or can it be opended in FSX? Menu bar perhaps?

Thanking helpers in advance  Smiley

To gain access to Plan-G, I run FSX or FS 2004 in Windowed Mode.
FSX or FS2004 and Plan-G both sit in the Windows Task bar, and I swap between the two with a mouse click whilst the program is running, bringing either one to the foreground, as required..

Paul.... Cool...!

You can export a flight plan to FS9/FSX and then load it in the sim. Also you can load flight plans created in FS9/FSX into Plan-G.
