These two sentences shouldn't be in one of your posts Paul.
First you say you like Gravy now you don't.
Make your mind up Paul.

Yorkshire puds are not the same without gravy. Look at the shape. In Yorkshire they have them for starters, just filled with gravy. If you have some left over you can fill them with jam for afters. Yummy!

I always remember my dear old Mum always used to pour the Batter mixture straight into the piping hot roasting tray.
When cooked, it would then be sliced into flat portions (with curly edges!) and served on the dinner plates!
I think its the availability of ready prepared and part-cooked Yorkshire Puddings which has made the process much easier and quicker nowadays...>>>

Nah, come halfway across the world to Hawkes Bay, The Fruit Bowl of New Zealand. You’ll get a great wine here.

It's probably sacrilege to say, but actually, I haven't got a taste for red wines.
I have a "sweet tooth", and I find red wines bitter to my taste!
I prefer sweet white wines better, but my Nurse tells me that red wines are better, to thin the blood for those folks suffering with high blood pressure.
Strange though it may seem, but I actually prefer sweet lemonade!...
....
...!
The difference is, red wine at 13% makes me "happier" than lemonade...
....and I like being happy!...
...!
My ideal vino at the moment is "Mulled Wine", an 11% red wine, with various herbs and spices added to make it sweet....
...!

In a totally unrelated aside...
I've always wanted to go to England, just so I could drive through the Chunnel. Not because it looks like a great drive (I'm sure it is), but just so I could use the word 'Chunnel' now and again.

As you can see from Fozzer's link you can't drive through the Chunnel. You drive onto a train at one end which takes you to the other end. I've been through it a couple of times on coach trips. It's convenient but to be honest I much prefer the ferry.
