Is there any way to get synthetic vision in FSX(or FS9)?

You never know what other places/countries are like untill you travel there. More people should get out of their home contries, just so they can understand/know more of/about the world

Nice links, will help people know what I want in the simulator. Is there any add-on that will do this?

No idea if it exists in FS, but now that I see it I reckon it exists under X-plane as a default option/gauge at least ever since V8. I remember having used freeware military planes with that kind of gauge. Shocked

Yea I have wondered about this, ever since I have seen it when I was looking up some glass cockpits in real planes.

It seems to be a very nice feature to have in a plane!!

this will be a great opportunity to find out about this!

Yes it is interesting.  Wonder why no one has come up with one.  My idea is to take a Garmin1000 PFD and replace the standard PFD horizon view with a "view" from a different angle (dash or top of the windshield) that replaces the original view, with a constant daytime view ?  I don't know, Just a though.
