I'm in a nice Supper-Time mood again!

So, what should I treat myself to, tonight?... Roll Eyes...!

Tagliatelle and a tasty Sauce!... Smiley...!

...

Egg Tagliatelle. Boiled f0r 8-10 minutes, and drained.

For the sauce:
Chopped Garlic.
Chopped Mushrooms.
Chopped Tomatoes.
Virgin Olive oil.
Dried Basil
Dried Parsley.
Ground Black Peppercorns.

Sautéd gently in a saucepan.

The cooked Tagliatelle added to the saucepan, and mixed together, with Green Basil Pesto sauce.

Served on a hot plate, and spread with grated Cheese.

Bread sawn from a fresh loaf, and buttered.

And washed down with a little drop of what you fancy!

I even surprised myself with the plumsiousness of it all!
Definitely going to do it again...very soon!... Kiss...!

Paul...With a happy, bed-time, tummy!... Smiley...!

I find adding a couple of chilli peppers to it ups the ante a little Paul Wink

Hello Mark... Smiley...!

I was tempted to add some chopped red or green Chillies to the mix. but I was eager to try out my new (Sainsbury's reduced price), bottle of Basil Pesto Sauce, which makes a lovely addition to Pasta, and I didn't want to over-power the delicate flavour!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pesto

Pesto sauce really does go marvellously with Pasta, and it made this meal something special!
Definitely one to try again!

Paul...Pesto-Pasta... Grin...!

The Magic Ingredient!... Kiss...>>>
...

P.S. The American "Barefoot Contessa" cook, on the Free-view Food Channel,. drives me crackers by calling Basil;..."Bay-Zill"... Shocked...!

Ah Paul, you're still up to no good posting pictures of those exquisite meals.

One thing's for certain though, they still don't fail to make my mouth water whenever I see them. Smiley
