Don't figure...
Returned Mail, Can you believe it?
They sent my income tax return form back to me!
In response to question # 4, "Do you have any dependants?"
I replied -
"2.1 million illegal immigrants, 1.1 million crack heads, 4.4 million unemployable people, 901 thousand people in over 85 prisons, and 650 idiots in Parliament.
Apparently, this was NOT an acceptable answer.
Who the hell did I miss?
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Well, maybe not everyone ... I kind of like having public roads, public libraries, police, the military, and all the other good things that taxes pay for in our society. Call me old fashioned but I believe paying your
fair share
of taxes is a civic duty, and those who shirk that responsibility are not to be admired. If one really hates taxes, maybe move to Cuba or North Korea. No taxes paid there. Just bribes.

True, but you have to admit that there are things and people you wish did NOT get your income taxes.

How is the US Military Good?
It only causes war & conflict.
That is an inflammatory and political statement that will only get this thread locked

I know where you went wrong, the calculation for the prison population is not quite right. You took the whole country in your calculation for all other catagories, but (possibly only) State when it came to the prison population. You should resubmit adding another 1.3 million dependents to your return. I believe that the population is around 2.3 million. However, you may get your return back again if the tax man is looking for a even more accurate count. You could claim for another 5 million if you also want to include people on probation in your dependency figures

I realise that & apologise.
Taxes are good if it means the library gets more books.

Your figures seem a little messed up. According to Wlkipedia "There is no credible information available on unathorized immigration in Canada. Estimates range between 35,000 and 120,000 ...".
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illegal_immigration#Canada
I don't know about crack heads but the only statistics on unemployment I can find are quoted as percentages.
Quote:
901 thousand people in over 85 prisons,
The latest statistic on the prison population of Canada I can find is "an average of 153 000 individuals under the supervision of Correctional Service Agencies" in 2005-6. "In 2005/2006, there were 192 correctional facilities across Canada."

I think this refers to the British House of Commons.

One thing that is REALY stupid in Holland is,taxes on EVERYTHING.
I'll just use petrol as an example.
There goes roughly 40% of the money to the actual production, about 5% is for ther seller, then and 55% goes to the government.
Then, you have to pay tax for actualy owning fuel and then even more tax for USING it.
I am not sure if this goes on anywhere else but this is how it goes in holland.
The governments response when confronted:
There should be more rivalry between the petrol stations so the prices will get lower.

Nearly as bad as when I offered in a complaint letter to the council to include some moist cat turds from my garden (courtesy of the neighbours flee-bag) to show them exactly the same contempt they'd shown me.
Oddly enough their letter was nearly as rude as mine... I was delighted
Guess they've not got any cats available for a counter threat...

Doug, sometimes you've just got to tell people like it is. Anyone who works for the government in an administrative position is automatically a personality free drone and worthy of any creative nastiness you can dream up
You should hear my mum on hospital administrators, as an ex-nurse she has some ideas that'd make the Gestapo boys honk their boots up
The only question is how to retrieve the egg whisk and the polo mallet?
