A sample of the lovely, tasty Dinners which we (I) enjoy every day, on our side of the Atlantic Ocean......>>>

...

Roast Pork (with crunchy crackling!).
Boiled Potatoes.
Roast potatoes.
Various  assorted vegetables.
...some Yorkshire Puddings...(previously digested!)... Wink..!

...and the most amazing gravy sauce  since the invention of the wheel...

All washed down with a nice South African, soft red wine....

So much joy may soon be made illegal!

It's not that bad Paul; it just has a different flavour to NZ Marmite.

When I was young my dad dared me to eat a teaspoon of NZ Marmite. Grin

Tonight I'm going to have a teaspoon of British Marmite.

(Over here they call British Marmite "Our Mate")

Ever eat 'sambal'?
Its essentialy a sauce made out of different kinds of chilies.
We have a jar of the 'oelek'(or however you spell it) variety and normally it isn't AS spicy as the other kinds but this is a big jar but for some reason it becomes spicier every day. Grin
I don't want to risk eating a full unmixed(its meant to be used in spicy stuff, its REALY spicy) teaspoon. Grin

2 small flat teaspoons in something the size of a saucepan can burn your hair off,and we are used to spicy here...
So,stay away from it! Grin Grin Grin

Kimchi:  Quite possibly the hottest thing you will ever eat.  Take some boiled cabbage, bury it underground and let it ferment for a couple of weeks, add hot pepper and 'other flavors' and prepare to sweat...  Cry

Taste is incredibly nasty and I never could understand how people could eat it.
