Cool! No, I haven't. I hope to have time either this evening or tomorrow morning for FSX. I'll give it a try then.

FoxThree, thanks for the heads up. Takeoffs are much shorter now.

Great shots, Rich
We have a 650 kb per thread limit though.....
Just start a new thread instead of posting more shots in the original

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Damn! Forgot about that!
Mfaulisi, Thank you. It is, indeed, a fun aircraft.

I tried it and now I am missing some gauges in the VC and I am also unable to get rid of the rockets so I fly at rediculus speeds.

Don't know about the missing gauges but you need to press the white "jettison" button just forward of the throttle control to dump them after takeoff:

. Of course, if you're already doing this, then...

Hmmm. Not sure why that's happening, assuming everything is installed right. Works everytime for me. I wonder if the version of FSX we use is a factor. I use Acceleration.
I do recall in some instructions somewhere reading that sometimes you might need to push the button more than I time because the unit keeps turning back on. So, evidenly, it has some issues for some people. If you'd like, I can ZIP up my installation files and send them to you. If nothing else, you'll have the external views I've written--unless, of course, you have your own that you prefer.

$29,000 for an almost airworthy MiG-21U? It's mine!

Almost looks airworthy, once you get the mice out, put it back together, and replace the missing pieces.
