I took this in IL-2 Sturmovik 1946. In my opinion this is the best WWII air combat sim ever. Cheesy
I detached myself from the TB-3 mothership right before we lifted off...  Tongue

Loud and talkative Bengal cat. He's not ours; his owner lives two houses down, but he wanders around the neighborhood getting food and talking to his human friends. He'll sometimes get into a fight if he meets another cat though... But it's rare because he's kicked out all other cats in the neighborhood. He thinks all the houses are his too...
I came up with the name "ilikerio" way back in 4th grade, and I've used it with most user accounts ever since.

Nice! I miss that ole sim. I was never any good at dog fighting so I always ran in a bomber. It used to be you were able to assign positions in the bomber say a Heinkel. I would be the pilot and my friends would be the gunners. We'd get all shot up and they would cheer me on to bring the crippled beast home Grin. Damn.....I think i'm gonna reload it today Grin Cool

I like the bigger aircraft to dogfight like the P-38 and BF-110. The smaller ones like the P-51 and BF-109 stall way too easily... Unless you have real skill!  Roll Eyes

The secret is a slow and steady pull on the stick Smiley
Once you see the ol gal start to shutter and shake, then you back off a skoush on the stick pressure and let her ease into the pull. Easy on the rudder too, the P-51, I-16, and Fw-190 in particular will swop ends faster than you can say "Oh $hit" when you nail the rudder during a pull!
