I must admit that I am guilty of text-walking from time to time, though I would definitively think twice before doing it while only inches away from water...

Not a good showing for the West Side of the mitten! Come on, when you are on a Michigan Pier, PAY ATTENTION!!!!
I have to admit this does not surprise me, I have seen a lot of stupidity on the Holland and Muskegon piers in West Michigan.

Even if the phone was waterproof you couldn't text from underwater. Tis a frequency thing, hence why submarines use ULF.
I saw the ultimate "stoopid" on the Edgware Road the other day, he had an iPad and was using it as a phone, two hands to hold it to his mouth
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

All the annoying folks who persist in "texting" whilst aimlessly walking, should be deported to Michigan, placed on a very short pier, and forced to walk off the edge.
Awful people!
(Importing White Sharks would be an excellent addition).

Just the other day a girl on WMU's main campus dang near walked into me because she was absorbed in her phone thinga ma jig. I am proud to say I dont text and am text retarded. My phone makes calls and takes pretty grainy pictures. No texting. No internet.

This story reminds me of one day when we were driving into Hastings, a cyclist was texting while riding & he was kitted out in all the flash gear. Even worse, it was a busy road.
Also the same day I saw someone texting while riding a horse.
Only in Havelock North.
