Just recently came across a reference to this patch which apparently came out in the very early days of CFS2 in 2000.  The information available indicates it was worthwhile having--it made some adjustments to the US missions and campaigns, making them more realistic.  There are only a very few references to it and none of the links work anymore.  Just wondering if any of the guys who have been around since the beginning, like Hagar, remember it and know where I could get a copy.

I've had a quick search round & can't find any working links. Sorry.

What a dummy I am!  I discovered I had the patch years ago but never applied it, just filed it away on a CD.  So I applied it, tried it out and I think it is quite worth-while having.  If anyone wants it, PM me and I will e-mail it.

Each mission in the US campaign has been edited to increase the involvement and effectiveness of wingmen and to provide Orders of Battle that are more historically accurate.  Some missions needed more surgery than others due to a lack of solid research on the part of M$.  Others needed only minor tweaking.  The author hopes that by this modification users will experience a more immersive and less frustrating campaign environment.  I've tried it out only briefly but feel it is definitely a worthwhile improvement.
