I'm seriously confused with this Airbus X Autopilot.

In a freeware A320, I can easily use the autopilot and I have completed many short and long journey's using this baby. However, I recently bought Airbus X expecting it to be similar. It's not.

I took-off from Faro, Portugal on route to Lisbon, Portugal to complete a test flight with the A320 Airbus X but I was annoyed at the fact that the autopilot didn't work.

I change to HDG to 005 as instructed but I can't seem to get HDG Hold; I simply cannot find it. The same with altitude, I program 6,000ft into the ALT knob but I don't know how to activate ALT Hold.

So a couple questions:

How do I activate these two things?
Where do I input the ILS frequency and the course? - I can't find the radio for NAV 1 or the course selector for an ILS landing
How do I activate speed hold?

Please help me! I had no problem in freeware aircraft but in this, I am struggling quite a lot!

Thank you!

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

You need to learn how to use the MDCU.  It's not the NAV/GPS stuff, and its very advanced.  Read the manual for everything, and the AEROSOFT forums

Okay thank you but when I change my ALT to 6,000 - How do I get the plane to ascend to that altitude by itself and then stay there? Same with speed, heading and auto-throttle!

Again it explains everything in the manual.  In your MDCU, does it display a .0 in the scratchpad?
