I was working outside today: cleaning the chicken coop, putting some new tin siding on the shed, checking and making sure the tractors will be able to be used with in the next few months, etc. Well... I was nailing the siding onto the shed, when I started feeling a strange kinda fear like feeling in my stomach... It was weird.  Shocked I turned around and did not see anything. So I continued with the job, and had just about finished it when I got the feeling again. I hurried up and finished the job. As I was walking to the house(about a 1/4 mile), the hair on the back of my neck stood up... I went in the house shut the doors, made sure the windows were shut, and grabbed a phone because by then I was kind of feeling a little paranoid.  Roll Eyes After about an hour the feeling went away, and I went back outside and continued working.

*says with extreme sarcasm* Just felt like sharing my wonderful experience today!  Smiley

Sounds like you live in a rural area. Is it possible that you were unknowingly being watched by a predator such as a cougar or bear and that put your hackles up?

I've had similiar experiences while alone in the woods. I couldn't see, hear or smell anything threatening, but it made me very uneasy just the same Wink

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"
