Got to thinking more and more about this little project I am planning and since it's too cold to go clean out the garage in preparation (27º F) I kind of got to trying to clean up these old drawings.  Reduction kills this, but I think you can see a difference.  It's taken me all of four days to do this one drawing and if it's any indication of the amount of work it took, the original file was 9.8 mb and the cleaned up version was 5.4 mb.  I removed a LOT of stuff.

Put on some Pink Floyd, open up Photoshop, and start with the mind numbing monotony...   Tongue

So... I guess it's safe to say you are already a little obsessed with detail as regards this project...  Roll Eyes
But I am impressed. I think you should just go ahead and build an airplane... if you have even a single-bay garage, there are a lot of options. I have the space, but I'd have to remove a window and somehow lower my creation 4 stories when it's done, so I've been putting it off.  Grin

I don't see a real plane happening.  As fun as it would be, I have no way to fabricate the metal pieces and probably couldn't afford an engine anyway.   Sad  I think I could on a smaller scale though with some snips, a grinder and a drill...
