I am trying to add a repaint to my Airbus A321. I have added the texture, but when I go to add the description and stuff to the aircraft.cfg file... It keeps saying access denied when I try to save it. What am I doing wrong/not doing/missing/etc.?  Embarrassed

It's a Windows 7 problem.

Copy the Cfg. file and place it on your desktop. Make your changes to the copy and save it. Then place it back in your aircraft folder and overwrite when asked.

Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Chuck, I always say this but no one pays attention to me even though I've done it myself.

Default Windows 7 protect you from yourself setting. The whole Program files & Program files (x86) area is classed as read-only.

Right click on the FSX Root folder, click on properties & then un-tick the box read-only, now press apply. Now it shouldn’t say "access denied" when you try to add repaints.
