FS 2004:

A flight in one of my favourite Cessna 150's from Bitterroot Valley in Montana.

Leaving Ravilli (6S5), and turning westwards, up a valley, to rapidly? climb over the Bitterroot Mountains...

...

Getting higher, and colder!...
...

Now gasping for Oxygen, (me and the Continental), with carb heat applied!

...

Aiming for Moose Creek (US Fire Service).1U1
Landed, without a fire in sight!

One of those high altitude, mountainous flights, in a small piston prop, where you carefully watch your airspeed, your mixture control, your outside air temperature, your carb and pitot tube heat, and regularly test the sphincter muscle in your Bum...all at the same time!

I love my little C150/152 explorations!

Paul.... Grin...!

Nice job Fozz! I recently had the same experience in a multiplayer in a 172. I kept loosing power once over the mountains. Once all items were set correctly though all was well. Thought i was a goner for sure at least twice. Nearly took a piece of my seat with me when i went to refresh my beverage...hows that for pucker factor Grin Grin

Wait, wasn't that the realy hard landing we did?
Where we trimmed some trees right before the landing?
Where I nearly got blown away by several strong wind gusts. (some came from me tough) Grin Grin

.... Grin...!

Thanks Mike...
One thing we always remember, (or should do!), in our normally aspirated piston props, is to weaken the Mixture when operating above 5,000 feet ASL to achieve the maximum power obtainable from the engine.... Smiley..!

Fiddling with the controls (and surviving) is fun!

Paul...FS 2004...G-BPLF...(Multiplayer)... Cool...!
