Hi
.
I recently bought Real Environment Xtreme, and I love it!
It makes the world so much more beatuiful.
But! (There's always a but) There's one problem. All runways, on every airport, is just plain black, but only where the asphalt/concrete should be: All the white lines is there.
Please, I desperatly need help.
Thanks!
/Julius

Be patient!
Also linking the guy to the place where he bought REX is a bit patronizing.
All I can suggest is to uninstall REX and reinstall it, if that doesn't work, uninstall it and re download it then reinstall the new version. I remember the first time I downloaded it there was a problem with the file and it didn't work so I downloaded it again and it was fine. It's a pain being such a large file and all.
That's all I can think of to be honest, if that doesn't work I'd try the REX forums.

I just had this problem when I was landing, and I just pressed the 'esc' key and it reloaded itself... But the problem you're having may be mor severe.

Not my intent to come across as patronizing.
Assuming in forums normally rub folks up the wrong way, now we don't want that either..I assume
REX has some of the best support forums out there. The likes of Tim or Keez will have his problem sorted out very quickly.
Quite frankly the poster will likely become frustrated and very impatient having to re-install REX, all patches followed by a possible OD when maybe something else is wrong. Especially having to re-download a massive file if it was not needed to start with.
I still recommend heading over to the site I linked. Just make sure your order number is in the signature for fast support.
The few issues I had with REX was always resolved in a speedy manner on the REX support site, never on a other non-official support forum.

Have you tried different textures by making a custom theme or picking one that has different runway textures?

I have the same problem. I get the sketchy runway whenever i am on the ground taxiing. I have tried changing the textures and nothing is different. Even though your only on the ground a short time it is still kinda annoying. Also are your "progressive taxi" ground nav aide arrows missing? Thought that it might be linked to this.
