'Flying' the big iron for a change
Freeware 737 with default 738 VC but relatively cheap payware easy-install Smiths FMS - see my 'spot the payware' thread in payware if you're interested. My first ever FMS controlled airliner flight
Landing was catastrophic first time round...way too high on approach as anyone who knows Townsville can see... 2 years away from the saddle takes its toll on one's 737 seat-of-pants-fly-it-like-a-giant-C172 skills. I executed a 'slew-back' go-around
Cheers!

Great shots.
Have you thought about downloading Alrot's freeware 737 VC?

Great shots....the last three are outstanding to me
"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Thanks a lot guys!!
Re Andy: Alrot's addon looks great and I have thought about it but I read it causes crashes in certain conditions and my sim isn't the most stable thing ever...and I haven't finished filling it up with stuff yet. Also - I like my new gauges and Alrot's VC probably won't have them. I'll try it out though when I get more into flying airliners.
Re Flying Trucker: DC 4 = beautiful aircraft... it would be fine to see them everywhere instead of the ubiquitous tubes...

Alex has fixed the crashing issue & it has a FMC built-in. also it's got a GPWS that works really well.
