I take it you mean the weathering effects? Quite simple really. You need a bowl of water and water based paint. Put a large pinhead of paint onto the water and then brush on the paint water mix and let it dry. After around 20 or so applications, you end up with the show sort of effect that you see on the floats. For other parts, use less. The fuselage I think was around five or so just to make the paint look aged.

Matt

Edit, I forgot to mention, once the painting is done, a coat of clear lacquer. In this case, mat (mat or gloss depends on the type of weathering you want), then apply the decals. I used decal soft as this allows you to make the decal take the true form of the surface it's applied to and you can press them into panel lines. Once the decal is applied, a quick wash (see above re weathering). Once all is dry, then a final coat of clear mat lacquer. They are all my secrets Cheesy

Painted with the required Revell light olive green. Not happy with the colour, it just does not look right. It will change. I will probably apply a wash to make it look like an anti corrosion compound has been sprayed on.
