On the Super Bug!  Wink I love that repaint, it's a mix of old school and new school perfectly blended. Enjoy!

Very nice shots! I love that repaint to.

I can't wait for the tacpack, I was expecting it in December but that didn't happen =[ it's looking like it's going to be summer time now.

Out of interested can the real world F18 land on a carrier while carrying all those external tanks, the center tank always looks like it would slam in to the deck of the carrier in a hard landing to me.

Yeah it's in closed beta now.  Jon said today they're scheduled to start the F model (and possibly a EAG model) this year.

It can Wink It just means it has to burn or transfer more fuel to be at the required weights though.

Thanks for that, the center tank is tucked in a lot more than I thought it was.

What's the difference between the E and the F other than it has two seats? Is there a role difference? I'm guessing the F is more of a dedicated bomber?

They're tactically the same from what I understand so either can "technically" do any capable mission.  I believe the F models are used primarily in CAS/ground attack roles though since it takes that workload off the pilot.  I also think some are used for training depending on how they're outfitted (dual flight controls or not).

The EA-18G's are electronic warfare birds with a different mission though.  On a side note we had 3 of these on our ramp not too long ago, they have different wingtips (pods built in).  It was cool to see them up close.

Great shots and a cool repaint Cool Cool

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Thank you very much for all the comments. I'm definitely having a blast with the Super Bug these days, but I've reinstalled some scenery and planes so I can branch out as far as screenshots are concerned  Wink I'm thinking Sunday will be a good day to post new stuff.
