THERE IS NO SUCH THING!

I absolutlely can not believe all the people out there that believe in this crap.

CONTRAILS are made by the humidity of fuel combusting.

The closest thing to chemtrails there is, is those cloud-seeding aircraft. And that is no secret. They use iether dry ice, or siliver iodide.

Sorry guys.. Maybe people here have a lil more intelligence then the average Youtube user, but MAN there is some gullible idiots out there Shocked

Absolutely agree about the chemical conspiracy or lack of......

.......but there is some evidence to suggest that contrails can produce cloud, albeit on a temporary basis. A bit of a bummer if a suntan is wanted. Not good for the environment generally. I would rather they weren't there, but on the other hand I still want to fly to Crete for my hols.

I have heard claims that CONTRAILS cover up to 10% of the sky, on average. this is a huge number, but it still is crazy ridiculousness for anyone to claim the gov't is spraying "Chem-trails"

I can't believe the amount of you tube comments/videos about chem-trails.

How crazy is it to say that they are doing that?

I think there is much better ways of emitting a chemical into the air for people/animals/plant life to absorb. Like what about just claiming that unfiltered coal fueled power plants are healthy for the environment???

I dunno... Some conspiracy claims I can understand, and some times even can some what believe. (I am uncertain on how the WTC fell down)

and I can understand how people can question the thought on how man landed on the moon (I can say for 99% sureness, that we were there)

but chem-trails??

C'mon...

And those people that are putting this "toxin" into the environment are just going along with it, with no worries for their own family, and they just live normal lives.... Breathing in the "toxins" that will kill everyone else...

But im sure some conspiracy nut will suggest that they have some sort of immunity to this...

Im sorry if Im ranting... but I just cant believe the amount of people that actively research this stuff... Because there is at least 5 million people in America that believe this crap.. Its sad..

I work with a guy, who like me is a licensed aircraft engineer. He quite firmly believes that Chemtrails are a government conspiracy to control us by aerial spraying. Nothing you can tell him makes him think any different. I don't know whether to laugh cry or just hang my head in sadness.

A person I know claims that contrails coexist with chemtrails. The contrails show up and dissipate quickly while the chemtrails hang in the sky for hours. Then again, he always orders a Shirley Temple when we go out to a bar. Undecided

PS: He figures this is actually an attempt to control the affect of the suns rays on earth.

Flying with twins is a lot of fun..

one of the problems that feed this paranoia is: Contrails don't always disappear quickly, given the right conditions they grow and grow and form cirrus like clouds that can alter the weather i.e. turn a bright sunny day into an overcast day.....it happens.

Add to that the fact that manufacturers are probably reluctant to talk about the weather altering aspect of their labours. A perceived lack of transparency.

Further add a slightly paranoid personality (and they're there by the bucket load). Bingo! a garbage conspiracy theory.

I do enjoy reading a good conspiracy theory, treat it as fiction and enjoy the fruits of a good imagination. My personal favourite is the Titanic and sister ship theory, worthy of a film screenplay.

Loads of folk believe weird stuff.
