I think SimV is more like The Prisoner (1960s).

It's too friendly, everyone knows where they are and what they're doing....

They must be after information!

I first came to SimV in (I think) 1999, but it may have been '98.  When I bought my first computer, the first program I bought was FS98.  SimV was the first FS site I found after I installed it.  Since then, every new computer has had FS as the first program installed on it.  It's been an on again, off again thing, but somehow I always come back eventually.

Now I am back...  Smiley
