I'm after a twin seat fast jet like the F-14 but I want it VRS quality, a big ask I know so I was wondering if any actually exist.

IRIS Simulations just released their F-15E that looks to be VRS quality or higher.
Don't have it myself yet, as I'm saving up for a DSLR at the moment, but all the other IRIS products I have are great.

Hope this helps,

Iris did do an amazing job on the Mudhen, a big systems upgrade from their previous jets - the only let-down (if you can call it that) is in the weapon systems and radar.  Missiles can only be can only be locked on visually (you can't selected a target via the A/A radar) and the only A/G mode is CDIP.  Additionally, missiles don't fly to the target, they just shoot straight forward after it’s released - and the only radar mode (if I'm not mistaken) is TWS.

They said they plan to integrate the TacPack in order add more realistic weapon modes/behavior, and they're looking into adding more radar modes.

It is a little FPS heavy.  Uh.. the IRIS F-14 is good. I don't know of any other off the top of my head ATM...

Milviz has an F-15E as well.  How is the IRIS flight model? After the FDE issues on the C-27J, which I LOVE, I'm not sure I'd pay full price for one of their planes.

When the TacPac releases (hopefully soon since its in closed beta) they're doing the F model.  Can't wait for that one!

My sentiments exactly

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

I didn't even realize that Milviz had an F-15 out when I bought the one from IRIS...  Roll Eyes I am satisfied with IRIS' product so far, but I haven't been able to put it through all the tests just yet. Milviz' bird looks real good too, so it'll be a tough choice for you. I really wish developers would communicate more, I really don't see the point in two companies coming up with the same aircraft at around the same time  Roll Eyes

What is wrong with the Iris F-14? Or indeed their awesome Tonka and Phantom? We've got 'em all here and they ROCK (and are free now I believe) Cool

Forgot about the Milvz one.  As of right now it has a lot of problems, they are, however, working on a SP – they released a public beta of it about a month ago, and it’s getting a thumbs up.

On the plus side, the weapons modes/systems and radar are fully functional and comparable to the Superbug, in fact, it has 2 things on the 'Bug.
1) A/A missiles will destroy AI aircraft (once hit the plane will fire-ball to the ground) and A/G ordnance will destroy autoget and taxing AI.
2) If you are within the blast radius of a bomb when it goes off, your plane will experience damage.

Additionally, they have released 5 missions and AI traffic (for 13 different AFBs around the world) for the Mudhen.

They haven't released their F-4 as freeware yet.  Tonka?
