Here is my submission into the Simviation February Contest, and the first in any Simviation contest!
The RQ4 Global Hawk is a high-altitude, long-endurance unmanned aerial reconnaissance system designed to provide military field commanders with high-resolution, near real-time imagery of large geographic areas. In April 2001, Global Hawk made aviation history when it completed the first non-stop flight across the Pacific Ocean by an unmanned, powered aircraft, flying from Edwards AFB, California, to the Royal Australian Air Force Base, Edinburgh, South Australia. This UAV has successfully participated in a series of exercises with the RAAF, the Royal Australian Navy and the US Navy. While still a developmental system, the Global Hawk has been deployed operationally to support overseas contingency operations since November 2001.
This image was made using two freeware addons, with these being the awesome RQ-4 Global Hawk UAV and the spectacular USS Nimitz Carrier. It's my first time using both of these addons
They can be found on Simviation using the following links:

(Scenery) USS Nimitz -

Thanks, and good luck to all!
Cheers,
Clem
Happy Flying,
Clem

Ohhhhh me likey!!
Well done on your first ever entry
I'm not sure if Global Hawks currently takeoff/land on carriers......but this is about the future after all
"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Why don't the navy make their boats blue, have you ever seen a grey sea?

Thanks for your compliments! Haha, why don't they paint Air Force aircraft blue then? That's the colour of the sky!

I would find it very unusual if the RQ-4 ever was carrier based, but great pic.
Flying is the 2nd greatest thrill known to man. Landing is the first.
