A cowboy walk into a bar and orders a whiskey. When the bartender delivered the drink the cowboy asked "where is everybody"?
Bartender replies "They've gone to the hanging".
"Hanging? Who they hanging" asked the cowboy.
"Brown Paper Pete" was the reply.
"What kind of name is that?" asked the cowboy.
"Well", said the bartender, "he wears brown paper hat, brown paper shirt, brown paper pants and brown paper shoes".
"Very bizarre" said the cowboy, " what are they hanging him for"?
"Rustling" said the bartender.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

.....didn't see that comin'
"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Thank you gentlemen. It was new to me as well, and I just had to share the laughter.

I've got it copied onto a Notepad on my Desktop, and each morning when I fire up my 'puter, I read it, and it has me in peals of laughter to start my day off!...
