Hawaiian Airlines
Hawaiian Airlines, Inc. is a major airline of the United States. It is the largest airline based in the State of Hawaii, and is the 11th largest commercial airline in the country. Based in Honolulu CDP, City and County of Honolulu, the airline operates its main hub at Honolulu International Airport and also operates a secondary hub out of Kahului Airport on the island of Maui. Hawaiian has never had a fatal accident in its entire history and is the oldest US carrier with such a distinction. Hawaiian Airlines was the number one on-time carrier in the United States from November 2003 until November 2006, when rival Aloha Airlines took the number one spot, pushing Hawaiian to a close second. The airline has also frequently been number one in fewest cancellations, baggage handling, and fewest oversales. Hawaiian Airlines has been rated the best carrier serving Hawaii by Travel + Leisure, Zagat, and Condé Nast Traveler. Recently, JetBlue and Hawaiian Airlines formed a partnership that will allow customers to book connections on a single ticket that combines flights from both carriers.

Wonderful shots Dave...well done... Wink

Maybe I am just old fashion but I wouldn't be caught flying something in that livery... Grin

Give me an all metal aeroplane with a flat black nose and a little colour on the wingtips and tail...just call me old fashioned... Grin

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Grin...LOL

Hi Dave...

Now I do like ladies in flashy coloured sundresses but the only reason to paint an aircraft in a livery like that is to find it in a snowdrift or snowstorm.... Grin

Maybe those Hawaiians know more about the Climatic Weather Changes than they are letting on... Wink         Grin

Great shots!

Are those stop lights I see?  Is that UTX "intersection" lighting?  If it is I need to buy that! Grin

Wow great shots! I happen to like that livery as it really shows the Hawaiian spirit.

I can agree 100% with those ratings HAW has received. I flew Hawaiian a few years ago and it was one of the most pleasant flights I've ever had. Then again we did splurge for 1st class!  Wink

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.
