Thank you for all of those who helped me to sort out my ILS approach problems.

I did a flight from Newcastle to Manchester IFR with an ILS landing at the end. This time I managed to get the autobrake stuck on and ATC was going nuts when I sat there on the runway  Tongue

...

Cheers

Very nice! I'm glad you solved your ILS problems.
I just ignore the ATC they can wait Tongue

My home airport Cheesy you should look at UK2000s freeware airports for the U.K there all very good quality and free! Very frame rate friendly to.

I don't know if you were using real world weather but at the moment the wind is favoring 5L (the one your using) and 5R which is pretty rare, it's nearly always 23R that's used 90% of them time!

Great. Glad to see you've figured it out.
Sadly I was having internet problems yesterday and so I couldn't help Embarrassed.
But anyway have fun doing ILS. Cool
And How many FPSis that bloom taking away? Shocked

Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

Well the game calls it 6L, I guess that's just the rounding from the bearing 055. But yep, that one indeed. Steady winds, it's just how they vectored me. I really do hate ATC in this game... Contact approach, contact center, contact approach, contact center, contact leeds. FFFFUUU!!!  Grin

The bloom wasn't bad at all. I wasn't checking the statistics, but it is usually 25FPS at airports. I have the game locked to 30FPS on pretty much the highest graphics settings. I know it doesn't look like much in that shot, but it was high settings. I have a few which were quite impressive looking  Cool

... Grin... Grin... Grin...!

I love it to bits, in my FS2004... Kiss...!

It gives you an example of what it must really be like in a busy area like LAX, when you are desperately trying to line up your aircraft for a landing at the last minute, with ATC blaring in your ear -'ole with confusing, garbled instructions, resulting in much knob-twidling on your radios, reading back confirmation, trying to keep an eye on the important cockpit instruments, and looking out at the front searching for the threshold...trying to remember whether the wheels are up or down...and how many degrees of Flap...do I need Air Brakes....all at the same time... Shocked...

...so much fun....with your life in your hands!... Grin... Grin... Grin...!

ATC..."Did you receive my last instruction?"... Angry...
Me....."Please say again".... Embarrassed...

Paul.... Grin...!
