As a proud Michigander I have to say happy birthday Mitten state! Here in Michigan we are blessed with wonderful things like lake effect, road construction, unemployment, and Yoopers! But in all seriousness, this state is awesome, we have fantastic hunting and fishing, plenty of wooded areas to poke around, 4 season which allows for wonderful aerial scenery year round, and mild temps: not too hot, not too cold.
Any male Michigander either has the start of salmon, deer, and turkey marked on their calendar or knows many people that DO have it marked! Speaking of which, flying during deer season is a great time to see them wander through the bare trees
So that's it, I will get off my soap box on Michigan, now I am off to celebrate my home state's birthday by exploring it from the air in fs9
Tailwinds,
Adam

I haven't been to Michigan in, oh, 5 years or so. I broke my collar bone there whilst snowboarding
. We have friends who live out there, so we were able to go fishing and the such in 2000 or there abouts.
Fond memories. Happy Birthday!
