I have added on quite a few propeller aircraft to my fsx and the problem that I am having is the propellers get partially blocked off in the clouds and also buildings on the ground tend to obscure the props also unless i get away from them. The prop aircraft that comes with fsx no problems ... Can anyone help me?? Undecided

These aircraft were originally created for FS9. Some can be partially fixed by tweaking the Alpha channel of the prop texture. I've sometimes fixed it by using prop textures from aircraft that do display correctly. Even if it works it won't cure the display priority problem with the clouds & autogen scenery.

Some of these aircraft might have already been fixed. Have a search round for tweaks & updates for the ones you have problems with.

With my models that have gone into test, some folks get it and some don't in FS.X and that is using exactly the same files

It is a known bug but certain texture and system combinations seem to work out

The advice Hagar gives is sound and worth trying out, no guarantees but give it a go.

It is to do with the order of the layers in the game so that leaves just this option

I've Swapped Prop Texture files with different aircraft before and got it to work.  What your going to be looking to swap - is usually called PROPBLURR texture file , within the aircrafts Texture Folder it self.  Your best bet is to get the FREE Add on' DXT BITMAP Manuiplator - try googling it,,, with that you'll be able to actually open up the bitmap texture file and see the file and also, what texture Format it is saved as, rather it be a 256 color bitmap or some other style format, sometimes changing it to another style bitmap will Correct the PROPBLURR  file. hope you understand all this - if NOT just come on here and ask for more help , we don't mind Smiley:) !!
