We've got i believe 6 A models, and now 2 B's. Cant wait to see them flying around!

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

I saw my first F-35 the other day... It was in a physics exam and we had to work out the power of the engines
A few years until the UK receives theirs, I believe. I think they changed the order from Bs to Cs though.

Yep, from one aircraft that doesn't work to another that doesn't work....what a brilliant use of our defence budget

Well, changing from the B to C is supposed to save abot £20M or so...
...Imagine how many rolls of duct tape they can afford to buy just to fix those problems

Switching from B to C was a much needed post Harrier hangover master-stroke.
Sadly it's impossible to predict Lockheed Martin being inept at designing a carrier based fighter... Mind you, the list of Lockheed designed carrier based aircraft is endless... not.

If they could deliver 5 or 10 to Canada. (Of the 65) We have duct tape. At least it would shut up all the Neanderthals with protest signs. I can't say the F35A B or C is the best aircraft for our part of the woods, but there is an awfull lot of real estate to cross if something came up. Fast and mean is needed for large land masses, I think.
(Fast, mean and economical, can't be used in the same sentence)
Flying with twins is a lot of fun..

Believe I heard another one fly over the other day. Too late looking outside to see it. Pretty sure I saw an F-18.... which have been escorting the F-35B's here. SO it may have been one.
Also saw 3 straight A-10's flying pretty low and fast over my work yesterday. Just awesome!
