from bowerman to a nearby ranch in typical weather conditions (ORBX weather 5) is fun but chalenging.(not only for me but also the rain trashes my pc Sad )
i only have 2 shots from takeoff and one when parked at the ranch.
...
takeoff in relatively bad weather.

...
is it me or do they use tides?

...
first attempt:go-around
second attempt:go-around
third lucky?no:go-around
fourth attempt i came in realy slow and at a high angle due to trees and i just made it...

Cool shots....there's some repaints for the JF 152 here at

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

i'm back!(i need to read all the new posts now. Tongue)

thanks everyone. Smiley Smiley Cool Cool

me?
i look at the map,see if there are features(rivers, mountains and valeys etc),start flying and follow the features.

i forgot the name but you can find it if you go into the second valey on the left when going inland.
its quite hard to find. Wink
but you NEED to get some fuel out,its not far so about 15% will EASILY do in a 152, yyou don't want too much on a short strip. Roll Eyes
