Hey gang!
I'm trying to set up dual monitors, all's good so far BUT:
When starting FSX, M2 flickers a bit, then changes resolution from 1680x1050 to 1680x768....FSX seems ok but only on M1. I'm pretty sure I set it up correctly, I can open windows and drag back and forth and such. So far only when FSX is open it does this.
I must be missing something!
FSX resolution is set to 1680x1050
Sys: Win 7 - 860
GPU: AMD5770 (1Gb)
Monitors: ViewSonic VX2025wm
As Always, thanks in advance!

No takers?
I know to drag a new view and such, but my main q is why is the M2 resolution less than M1? I can't seem to change it....
If anyone has guidance on the Eyfinity setup, please advise!
Happy Holidays to all!

Hi pilot.
I had some problem with my first setup.
I was using 2x graficcard GTX 560 and setup was like this
M1 was used for instruments build in the cockpit(simulator)
M2 Left window 20" lsd tv
M3 Main screen 50" plasma
M4 right window.
M1 was setup as main screen so i just open 3x new wiew and unduck them in M2-3-4.. but this was not real eyefinity.
So my setup today is as follow
graficcard ASUS Radeon HD 6950 1GB GDDR5 PCI-Express 2.1, "DirectCU II", 2xDVI-I, 4xDisplayPort, 810MHz
M1 is still the same 15" led PC unly for instruments
M2-3-4-5 is 24" BenQ HD 2450HM .
In the ATI toolbox there is a very good guide how to setup multi minitors and now i run with perfect eyefinity.
some good links amd.com/eyefinity ore just go in to youtube .. there you will find alot of good stuff
Good luck

I don't use my second monitor as an outside view, but I place different windows there (ATC, fuel, etc.) When I first set it up my resolution was different too.
I just happened to also be messing around with my fsx.cfg file around the same time I got a second monitor, I had this:
[DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450.1]
Mode=1920x1080x32
[SIM]
SYSCLOCK=1
[DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450.0]
Anisotropic=1
Mode=1920x1080x32
Originally my "Mode" was different from monitor 1 than on monitor 2, I forget exactly what but it was less than 1920. I set them both to the same number and the resolution is better now.

That seemed to be it! The second had a different resolution setting, all's good!

And a follow up, I also had a screen flicker...
It was my GPU, slightly o/c'd. I reset it to default, and that was cured as well!

I guess you're lucky!
All's good now, some more minor tweaks were needed obviously, after determining what was needed!
