I vastly prefer it without.  It makes me so sad to see them getting the pod in the factory

Thanks guys Wink

Great shots all around! I like the St Barth shot, definitely one of my favorite airports, but I think shot #1 is my favorite. It looks like the weather was pretty difficult for the approach.

It wasn't too bad, but that's what ILS is for Wink

Flightsim.com.  It's for the Carenado C208, just search for Carenado Caravan (it may be available here as well, not sure)

Jake Jake Jake You've just broken my level-of-awesomesity scale Grin

Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked
Amazing!  The lighting, water, horizon and scenery on all of them blows my mind!

By the way, what scenery id the St. Barts and the Princess Juliana?
(If the St. Barts is default, please tell me the full sim name, I can't find any called St. Barts)

I'm not really sure.  The bottom just looks so empty without it.  But these wonderful shots did inspire me to make a few realistic manueverability changes to the default one to make it easier for the mountains, and I must admit, I did that, and it flies like a dream.  I think I've found another favorate bird! Grin

If you're wondering, all I did was:
1.  give the ailerons and elevator the ability to move downward the same degrees as they already could upward
2.  give the rudder the ability to go 45 degrees
3.  give the reverser the ability to go to -.99 of full throttle instead of -.25
4.  inrease the impact capability of the front gear to 3500 like the other gear
5.  Let the flaps go to 40* instead of just 30*  (Making sure to account for the flaps down stall speed change)

It's fly-tampas St. Maarten scenery.  St. Barts is St. Barthelomey, TNCB I believe.

I'm not changing the Caravan, it flies like the real one should.  But more power to you!

And yeah, I didn't get rid of the original, because I only fly the mountain one in really tight valleys or when having to do a quite short landing, otherwise, I use the regular.
I don't do really short takeoffs in it though since it has no more power than the regular, and only was uprgraded for turning and slowing down.  (not what you want to do on takeoff)
