Well I just got back from Kauai and we got to do a doorless MD500 tour. I was super excited since this is my favorite helicopter. The weather wasn't bad but the lighting sucked. Here are a few shots I snagged while up there though. Enjoy.
My wife and I when we got back.
The harbor near the airport.
Wailea Falls
Coming up and over a ridge on the Na Pali coast.
The Na Pali coast.

Thanks guys.
It's a Nikon D40 with the standard 18-55mm lens.
I can get much better pictures so these weren't my best lol.

Great shots!!
My Wife and I did that back in 1986 when we were on our honeymoon. Did your pilot take you into the Waimea Canyon? Ours did and that was awesome!! I'll have to dig up the pictures and scan them to post.

Thanks again guys!
Yeah we went into the canyon and lots of little crevices.
That MD500 is nimble and he was extremely tame with it. We did a tour on Maui for our honeymoon back in '07 and this one was definitely better!
I have a lot more pictures, mods can I put a link in this thread to the remaining pictures if I put them on photobucket? I don't want to create 10 threads of 6 pics each
.

Ok cool...I pulled 24 shots that I thought were best. It's kind of hard to explain what some of the shots are without going through them (like the "weeping wall") but you'll get the jest of it.

That's the album. My airshow pictures are also public so feel free to roam.

No photobucket resized them as well. The actual photos are up to 3008 x 2000. Did you want any of them actual size?
