this is the same flight as the VOR shot.
i know, not ils conditions but i did an ILS aproach,i was lazy.
but for some reason i had to try 4 times before it caught the glideslope, weird, not ligned up properly perhaps?
anyways here are the shots from the landing:
great view from the passenger window during final aproach.
landing, very soft but not fast or floaty landing, just perfect.
parked at the ramp.
ADDONS:
scenery:FTX/ORBX bowerman & the american demo.
plane:beechcraft bonanza p35 from simviation (search:fsx p35)
clouds and sky:HDE clouds and sky adapted for fsx
gosh i must be sick,no editing in ages+me learning radio comunication.
maybe I will do a flight from bowerman to another airport in the aircraft, any ideas for places?
around 50 nm away.
remember,it was an ILS APROACH!
not an ils landing.

Remember...
If you are flying on Autopilot ILS, and are on the Glide-slope, switch OFF your Autopilot, re-trim the aircraft, and fly the remaining mile or so to touch-down, manually.
Don't expect the Autopilot to land the aircraft safely for you!
..it rarely will!

That first one was simply amazing! Though I'm absolutely clueless as to navigation except for making and flying IFR flight plans and following them. When it comes to approaches, I just do what the ATC tells me.
if there's no ATC, I just wing it. No, not landing on my wings, I just line up myself (or come in sideways) and land it. No problem. All I really know is follow the white and pink lines on the GPS.

I never said I hate navigation. Although many of my flights are following rivers and roads through cool terrain, I most certainly have done my fair share of IFR routes in the big jets.
