Now i have FSX i suppose its a given that i would get this superb Harrier pack - Although i prefer the SHAR over the RAF version all are done very well.

I also note that its much easier to get a good shot in FSX than it ever was in fs9, i think anyway.

So anyways, check it... Cool

So what things are available to move the 'camera' round a bit more? I note theres several views available but most still put the aircraft in the center, but i see i can move it left and right and up and down in a few views. FSrecorder here i come i guess, it worked for me in fs9 so i guess it will work here also, unless theres somthing easier out there!

Thanx for looking Cool

Ahhh, you did end up getting the Wilco Harrier! A blast to fly isnt it? Have a look over at Sim Outhouse, you will find several repaints there for the SHar. And oh boy... now that you have FSX running good, I expect a ton of great shots such as these! I love that last one!

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

Indded, im over there right now! I think theres potential to make the blue/white SHAR look so much better..... Smiley

I also note that its critical in FSX to have scenery that looks good. Anything default seems to detract even more so from the water and sky once you have those set up right, i followed those rules with fs9 but you could get away with it, here you cannot, it stands out like a sore thumb!!!!

Ive been playing with FWSC to get some nice water effects, and although i used to use FSskyworld combined with the HDE clouds in fs9, just using the HDE in FSX seems pretty good.

Ive no tweaks in the cfg now either, none seemed to make anything better, its seems happy as it is Wink

Simon if you havent already, get that awesome Duxford scenery, the Harrier fits in very well there!

And I think its time you got the paintbrush back out and do that blue/white Shar some justice!

Now those are amazing shots!
Step one, in the settings tab, go to controls.  Then go to view commands.  Then put in commands for the ones like "move viewpoint right"  and stuff. I have ctrl+enter and ctrl+backspace for my forward and backward, shift+enter and shift+backspace for my up and down, and ctrl+shift+enter and ctrl+shift+backspace for my left and right.
I don't know for certain, but they may already be set.
But if you do it from a view like an aircraft view like _wing, nose, tail, etc., you can get almost any kind of view you want.

Yep, i have duxford, i had it in fs9, along with a few others from the same team, Marham springs to mind, that was pretty good!!

As for repaints, i tried to get back into it recently but i just havent the time to sit down and devote the hours it demands. Maybe soon Wink Works more important at the moment, but im certainly interested in getting to grips with FSX repaints.

Club, im figuring the views out now as i go - they still seem to be a bit restrictive, but ive found a few things that may get round it, including fsrecorder.... Smiley

Great shots Cool Cool

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"
