Here I am, supposedly working of my term paper, and instead, what am I doing?
3Ding.
The tricky part is shifting the view "just right".

I'd have to finish some repainting of some of the parts of the landing skids. Maybe by the end of the weekend I could upload it.

Yup. Too much and the background is misalligned, not enough and you don't get enough 3d effect. If you're using the same program I am, you have some keys off to the left of the main image preview. You can use them to nudge the two layers in any direction to try to line them up better. I've also noticed that you'll get less eye strain if you render them without color, and the 3d effect is really pronounced with the red/green rendering.
Keep it up! (But after you've finished your studies!)
