Was browsing through the sales at fspilotshop and came across this P-38, and thought it looked pretty good! All the reviews were good, and well... for $6, you can't go wrong! This is the Sky Unlimited P-38 for FSX

Maiden flight in Kauai.... seems all my maidens are there now! lol

You convinced me......great shots Cool Cool

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Wow!  These shots are amazing as well!  You did absolutely wonderful on the scenery, clouds and horizon!  Let me guess...  REX? Undecided
And really, does that thing "climb like a homesick angel"?

Great shots Shocked.
I love the p-38. Which is the best though?

Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

This and the FSD Lightning have their pluses and minuses. Overall the FSD is a bit better, but the SU Lightning is cheaper. They both has some of the same makers, so there are things on each that are equal. But for $6, I'm not complaining one bit, and this one is a blast to fly!

they did a double test on avsim a while ago, and I did similar paints for both the SU and FSD, I compared the textures here.
Both models were made by the same guy, but with several years in between, and that shows, I think the FSD version looks much better, and have done far more paints for that one.. The SU version is cheaper and comes with an F-5 version, so there is something to be said for both versions....
