Alex...
..you are as confused as I am!...
...!
I don't know whether its a repeat, or a new series!
The "Indian" escapades pale in comparison to the "proper" Ice Roads Truckers, in the frozen Canadian, North-West Territories!
I look forward to the next episode of that!

"Ice Pilots" was good, as well!

According of my deep investigation
it seems that IRT and IRT deadliest road are two diferent shows from History
Confuse
Chanel,
the first season of India was pracicly new comparing with the IRT ,I just find Out that there is actually a new season of deadliest road ,the trucks looks alike the ones in India but the wheel is on the left side so is somewhere else (H.Chanel is trying to Kill Lisa )

The series premiered on June 17, 2007. Six ice road truckers are introduced, and ice road truckers are described as men driving eighteen wheelers who haul equipment and supplies from Yellowknife, Canada, across a temporary road composed of portages and frozen lakes, the destination being one of three diamond mines northeast of Yellowknife. The final episode in season one premiered on August 19, 2007.

To answer your question Alrot ........ yes it is older than the India episodes. The latest series (at least here in the UK) has the Dalton highway, with Dave from India and Lisa up there, along with a few new faces. Rick and Hugh and Alex are down in the backwoods of Canada on some really rough roads.
It's nice to see that there's a new IRT Deadliest roads comming too
