Hi All. I recently downloaded and installed the Concorde New Version in my FSX. I tried to follow the installation structures by the book, as well as performing the simulator initialization as recommended (start with the 2D cockpit and so on) and keeping my video drivers updated and FSX properly configured. Nonetheless, my virtual cockpit is not working. It is only rendering the gauges textures. All the rest (windows view, yoke, pilots, etc) is plain black. I can't post a picture right now but imagine that you are in the VC and you can only see the panel and gauges. You can't see outside because the windows are totally black, and you can't also see the yokes, the throttle quadrant, or anything else.

Has anyone faced this issue?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, I downloaded the FSX version and used the aircraft.cfg that is indicated for FSX as well. I also tried to uninstall it and reinstall the older version that I have. The older one works perfectly. I then reinstalled the newer version, and the problem persists. For now, I guess that I will have to stick with my old version - not cool as the new version has many improvements I liked. Thanks for the help!!!

Very very simple

You should read the basic install instructions:  Wink

- Open the folder called "COMMON BMPS" and copy the contained bmps, into each and every texture you want to be displayed.

See the difference

...

Follow the instruction and you get this

Pete,

Thanks. I read that in the instructions and I performed that step, but somehow the files ended up in the wrong folder (one level up). So I assumed that this step was correct and moved on to search for other causes. Your reply prompted me to re-check that installation step and I saw the problem. Now everything is working fine.

In any case, I think that writing the instruction as "copy the bmps into each and every texture you want to display" is not clear. Something like "copy the files to the Texture folder in your FSX main installation folder would be much better, I think. Well, that's off-topic already - just wanted to mention since this was the step I had trouble with.

Thank you very much!!!!!
