NICE
"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Thanks for the comments good people
I seem to be flying this Old Bird around all the time at the moment, a reflection of my age no doubt.

Actually, I'm quite young and I'm also thinking I may enjoy using it for the competition too. That thing flys quite well, i must say.

Club,
Good to hear the younger ones like the old bird, grace and style triumphs over speed
Ziggy,
Some excellent shots in your gallery.

Not evrythings speed with me.
For my fast ones, if it's a jet, I tend to actually fly it or have some fun with it in a canyon. If it's a naval jet fighter, I'm usually just doing carrier practice.
other than that, I go all over the place. I also tend to really like floatplanes and float helicopters.
I also enjoy taking regular helicopters and props on slow scenic flights following a winding creek.
And then there's always my random ones for my occaisional screenshot competitions.
But yes, of the vintage ones I know of, that's got to be my favorate.
