Yummy

How do you cook your french fries Paul. Deep fried or in the oven? I used to deep fry them in sunflower oil, but keeping the deep frier cleaned up was a hassle. Now I just bake them in the oven on tin foil.

Hello Steve...
...
They are frozen French Fries, (very cheap, and quick).
I pop them into a basket in my frying "saucepan" containing Vegetable oil ready brought up to temperature.
Fry them vigorously for about 3-5 minutes, keeping an eye on them to make sure they are the right "colour!" and reasonably crisp? and drain them on a paper kitchen towel.
Quick, cheap, and cheerful...goes nice with a fried egg/fish fingers/fish cakes, etc...and some Tomato ketchup!
...and crusty bread and butter...

There are so many ways to eat French fries. I tried Poutine a while back and it was too heavy for my tastes. Either vinegar or catsup is the route I take.

Cher wasn't always hideous. She looked tolerable in 1987. 20 years before that she was an attractive woman with a husband and a cute daughter.
A bad day at golf is better than a good day at work.

She looked OK in the film tonight, Witches of Eastwick (1987).
She certainly didn't spoil my supper!...

I must admit, I am a registered member of the; "Well Done" brigade, when it comes to cooking!...

To prevent the possibility of any nasty tummy upsets, I always ensure that anything involving meat is well cooked...
..sometimes to the point of cremation!....

My trusty Gas Oven is my bug-killer...!
Paul...

P.S...friends open-air barbecued meals pose the greatest danger of food poisoning and tummy upsets...insufficiently cooked sausages, burgers, chops, etc.... something I avoid if at all possible!
