So after the razzmatazz of the first 787 delivery, it would appear that it is so over weight that it is flying around with only a half load, not to mention the excessive fuel usage. This resulting in a range shortfall of 10-15%, putting the 787's range at 12,800km (6,900nm), well below the advertised ranges of 14,200-15,200km.

11 tons over weight  ANA are only carrying 158 pax. A lot of speculation that this is due to the 11 tons of fat and not because they want a spacious cabin. It does seem to be quite a drop from the certified 300 just to give a bit of extra leg room There are reports that it will take Boeing around 90 production builds before it meets the correct figures

264 is the planned domestic seating number. A the moment it is flying with 156 (two seats below the planned long haul seating plan)
