Hello Chums... Smiley

Always being fascinated with "Route 66" road from Chicago to Santa Monica, I enjoyed watching these 4 episodes on the Television, narrated by the legendary Scotsman; Billy Connelly...>>>

Very entertaining, and reliving the journey I took, a few years ago, in my FS 2004 flight-sim Beech Baron 58, starting at Santa Monica, tracking Rout 66, and visiting various airfields along the route, and reading about the local scene via Wikipedia, etc!

I really must do it again, I am always fascinated with the wealth of amazing variation in scenery along the route!.... Cool...!

My FS 2004 is a delight for me to explore the scenery of the World in detail!

Paul... Smiley...!

P.S. One thing that was obvious in the program, is just how many poor people there are, in the Land Of Opportunity, barely scraping a living, but still (slightly) optimistic, and full of smiles and much affection, and ever-welcoming to strangers. Some amazing characters!

I have been doing the same thing Paul in my Mossie at low-level having watched the Big Yin in action. Odd where inspiration comes from. Still haven't located the giant rocking chair yet...

I just wish he didn't fall over laughing at his own (poor) jokes so much.  Some of them are not remotely funny.
