A man was arrested Wednesday and accused of plotting an assault on the Pentagon and U.S. Capitol using remote-controlled aircraft armed with explosives — the latest of several terrorism cases to spring from federal sting operations.

Bad guy, no cookie. But you can't help but like the livery.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

And i Quote....'This undated photo released by the United States Attorney's Office District of Massachusetts (USAMA), shows a remote controlled model of the US Navy's 1960s Phantom jet fighter that allegedly belonged to Rezwan Ferdaus'
er...hang on, undated? So why does it say 18/02/2003 on it? Allegedly? So it might not be his then? Hes had it for 8 years? Baffling.....

Maybe the photographer from the US Attorney's office didn't know how to reset or remove the date stamp on the camera.

This guy sounds more like a nut case than a threat.
A bad day at golf is better than a good day at work.

Of course, unless he aimed exceptionally well into an open window (and would probably need to be standing at close range to ensure it!), all that would happen with a relatively small RC model is that it would disintegrate on impact with the wall, and any explosives that did detonate probably wouldn't penetrate the building!
Oh well, at least he had a vivid imagination!

None of my RC aircraft, if loaded to maximum weight, could never have even chipped a brick.

Here is one to try. You require the following;
Two trees around 10 to 20 meters apart.
12 to 22 meters of strong fishing line.
Two eye end hooks.
A couple of old Airfix of similarly no longer wanted plastic models.
A packet of bangers (fire crackers) left over from November 5th or 4th July.
Items not required, but may be included;
Police participation is optional depending where you live.
A one way conversation with your parents may not be.
A red backside may or may not be linked to the one way conversation (mine was
)
Was it worth it.................you bet

I've had great time doing the same only using an air rifle. Playing at anti-aircraft gunnery is a blast!
