...that make them look like cows. I was kinda amazed at the article about the military thinking that a herd of cows running down the battlefield at 40-50mph+ Wouldn't be suspicious at all to the enemy Grin Grin Grin Cheesy.
But anyway, I'm still waiting for all the previous promises e.g the gunsight that sees round corners for the army Wink.

Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

Yeah, well BAE Systems (note 1, they removed the "British" reference nearly a decade ago) have been going down the pan for decades. Amalgamating the aircraft production companies killed any competitive nature from the business (note 2), and amazing levels of greed in the upper echelons of the international behemoth that resulted, and incompetent procurement in the MoD has led to the situation now.

Anyway, on the aircraft side, only the Nimrod's been cancelled. It was BAES who shut down the civilian side - and it was their fault they weren't producing competitive aircraft (I refer back to note 2). For the last 20 years, the military side appears to have survived on lucrative middle eastern contracts (one thing they were better at than the competition!). Smiley
