Very cool
Thanks Bob
"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Every aircraft ever built............Well, after a quick look, it would appear that for example Saunder-Roe only produced 11 aircraft and not 24
or Avro at 71 when it was close to 100. Nieuport are listed as two when they produced three and Slingsby, three out of 33, Seems they need to update a bit

It's an excellent resource but compiling a database (c/w with photos) of every type of aircraft ever built would be nigh on impossible. Like Matt I could name some that are missing plus at least one mistake that hasn't been corrected.
There's some good links on the
RELATED RESOURCES
page.

great Link!
But about all, not even close. I can name some at first sight. FA-18 Hornet, 777-300, and I'm not going to search for more. And I don't think they covered all the ones from WWII. I beleive there were about 650-750 diffrent aircraft used in WWII alone, and I have a whole book series describing each one in quite good detail.

That's amazing. Thanks
.
I've discovered and learnt about lots of planes I didn't even think existed.
And Club, I'm still yet to find the xa-28 grizzly
.
But I'm sure they'll expand so keep an eye on it
Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

. They don't need to have a different article about every single livery, for every single model for every single plane. How would it be with the f-16
.
Thanks allot hagar

Not at all. I was apologising for my silly mistake.
Note to self, must read things more carefully.

huh. Looks like I messed up on the 777, but I had searched long and hard for the FA-18 and couldn't find it.

You won't find it if you look under Boeing. It's listed under the original manufacturer - McDonnell Douglas.
