Hi everyone!
I just thought I'd let you all know about two great websites I found and use for real world flight plans.
Just in case anyone else is like me and likes to fly accurate real world routes or if you have ever wondered how could you get from New York to Kathmandu and who operates the flight with what equipment!? (It's via Delhi)
Hopefully these two sites will provide the answer.
The first I use is flightaware.com which basically lists every aircraft currently in the air, showing its' route, altitude and way points. It also has listings for flight timings and equipment used for most flights from most airports. This is also useful if ever you were wondering who to book with in the real world if you wanted to go somewhere out of the ordinary. This site includes very detailed route information about an aircraft's route, cruising altitude and way points. You can also get 'fix' information from here to. Which is used for the second site I use.
The second website I found is simroutes.com using this you can enter fixes from Flightaware.com which look like this 'TAFFY HANAA ALB ALB211 WEETS SAX029 HELON SAX029 FLOSI SHAFF6 ' to generate a real world flight plan which includes SIDS and STARS which u can then download in to your sim.
I'm posting this because I really enjoy flying real world routes and these two site have proved an amazing source for information. I found them accidentally after lots of googling searching for real world route info.
I hope this is of some use to someone out there who is interested

Also sorry if this is in the wrong section!
